: Continuing its ongoing initiative to introduce innovative, fun and healthier products for children, Frito-Lay India’s snacks brand Cheetos today introduced a new addition to its healthier Whoosh range with the launch of ‘Cheesy Bugs’. A healthier snack bite, Cheetos Whoosh Cheesy Bugs will be available in exciting and unique bug shapes like snakes, scorpions, lizards and spiders that taste deliciously cheesy. And that’s not all, the product that tastes great is packed with positive ingredients like whole grain- rich in fiber and protein and Vitamin A with not artificial flavors or colors and zero transfats and no added MSG making it an ideal snack time option for children.
Speaking at the launch Ms. Ruchira Jaitly, Vice President –Marketing (Western snacks), Frito-Lay India said “We are very happy to announce the launch of Cheetos Whoosh- ‘Cheesy Bugs’. Today mothers are continuously looking for snacks that are healthier and make the kids happy eating them. Cheetos Whoosh ‘Cheesy-Bugs’ is a perfect snacking option tailored to suit their needs. We are sure that our young consumers will love the real cheese taste and have fun with creepy, crawly shapes in their bag of cheetos whoosh cheese bugs.”
Speaking on the launch, Dr TSR Murali, Technology Head Pepsico India ( Foods & beverages) , said, “The idea was to create a product that would help mothers pick a snack which has healthier ingredients yet appeals to their child’s taste buds and minds. For ‘Cheesy Bugs’ we have used healthier ingredients like whole wheat grain and Vitamin A in interesting bug shapes making it an exciting proposition for the kids.”

Cheesy-Bugs is priced at Rs.10 for 33 grams and will be available nationally from November end.
