| Vodafone launches Unlimited SMS offer in Mumbai | |||

: Vodafone Essar, one of India’s leading cellular services providers announced the Unlimited SMS offer for its prepaid and postpaid customers in Mumbai. Vodafone prepaid customers in Mumbai can now avail 500 free local or national SMS daily with a Bonus Card of Rs. 89 with a validity of 30 days. To activate the offer, prepaid customers can SMS ACT SMS89 to 144 (toll free) from their mobile phones. First SMS of the day will be charged at Re1 and thereafter the customer can send up to 499 SMS free. Vodafone postpaid customers in Mumbai can enjoy 15,000 SMS anywhere in India per billing cycle for Rs. 149. To activate the offer, customers can SMS ACT SMS149 to 111 (toll free) from their Vodafone mobile phones. The SMS offer shall not be valid on special days. This product is intended for consumer use and not for commercial use hence there is a fair usage policy of 15000 SMS per month for postpaid customers and 500 SMS per day for prepaid customers. The unlimited SMS offer is not applicable for customers who are already enjoying other SMS offers. Customers need to deactivate any existing SMS offer before activating the Unlimited SMS offer.
